Stones winery is set off a small road in Coldstream in the Yarra Valley. The location is beautiful, with rolling vineyards surrounding the various buildings with views to more distant hills.
We went to an event at Stones, which went really well.
The prawn entrée was great, with large tasty well prepared prawns in a crispy coating.
I didn't try the quail but got good reports, it looked good to.
The duck was lovely, as were the accompanying vegetables.
The service was good despite the large number of guests.

Got to say both the food and the location of Stones is stunning... well worth a visit.
